How to Register for Axis Bank Internet Banking

Axis Bank facilitates their customers a hassle-free registration procedure by following these easy steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Axis Bank and go to the Login page.

Step 2: click on the ‘Register here’.

Step 3: Enter your Customer ID or Registered mobile number ( customer ID is mentioned on the welcome kit or on the user chequebook also, and if not then the user can also get their customer ID by sending an SMS CUSTID to 56161600).

Step 4: If a user has a savings or current account, then you will get an option to select from one of these: Debit card, OTP, Email link and KYC.

Step 5: Choose one of the options and fill up the details to create your password and complete your registration.

Step 6: You can now log in using one of the options: 

  • Customer ID/Login ID and password
  • Debit card number, ATM PIN, OTP
  • Customer ID and mPIN
  • Registered mobile number, mPIN and OTP.

Step 7: For the Customer ID/Login ID and password user has to log in using an alphanumeric login ID instead of customer ID, this ID can be created once by logging in to Net banking, going to My profile, and clicking on “Personalise your Login ID”.

Step 8: After registration is complete for the first time you have to set 3 login security questions and answer.

Step 2: Click on their Internet banking option.

1. Transferring the Money Using Axis Bank IMPS Through Net Banking with IFSC

Step 1: Log in with your ID and password on the Axis Bank Net banking option.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Transfer Funds’ option.

Step 3: Tap on the ‘Other bank Account’ and select ‘Make Payment’ under the transfer funds option.

Step 4: Select the ‘Registered beneficiary’ from the available list (The name will not reflect if it is not registered already.)

Step 5: Click on the ‘Pay Instant (IMPS)’ option.

Step 6: Add the required details such as the transaction amount and choose the account from which the money will be deducted.

Step 7: Verify the details added and confirm it. 

Step 8: Click on the ‘Transfer’.

Step 9: Authenticate the transaction by providing login ID and password, also add the NETSECURE code.

Step 10: Accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Validate’.

Step 11: A confirmation message will be received after the successful transaction.

2. Transfer money using Axis Bank IMPS Through Axis Mobile with IFSC

Step 1: Log in to Axis mobile banking by entering MPIN.

Step 2: Go to the ‘Transfer’ and choose ‘Pay to another non-Axis bank account’.

Step 3: Select the ‘Beneficiary Name’ and add the transaction account (to choose the beneficiary name payee has to be registered).

Step 4: Select ‘Instant IMPS’.

Step 5: The user will receive a confirmation message after the transaction is done successfully.

3. How to Transfer Money Using Axis Bank IMPS using MMID Through Axis Mobile

Step 1: Log in to the Axis mobile portal by adding MPIN.

Step 2: Select the ‘transfer’ option, go to ‘Mobile Beneficiary’ (P2P), and click on ‘Add’.

Step 3: Enter the mobile phone number and MMID of the receiver to register the beneficiary.

Step 4: Click on ‘Transfer’ choose the beneficiary name and enter the amount to be transferred. 

Step 5: Verify the details and click on ‘Submit’.

How to Get MMID Axis Bank IMPS Through Net Banking

  • Send ‘SMS MMID’ to 5676782 from your registered mobile number.
  • The MMID will be sent to the user’s registered mobile number within 24 hours.

How to Add Beneficiary in Axis Bank for Fund Transfer

Step 1: Adding a Beneficiary

  • Login to Axis Bank Internet Banking 
  • Click on the ‘Transfer Funds’ option.
  • Click on the ‘Other Bank account’, ‘Transfer Funds’ and then select ‘Register New Beneficiary’. 
  • Enter the beneficiary account number, IFSC and name as per the account.
  • Verify and confirm the details and enter Login ID and password to authenticate the information.
