How is the price calculated?
At the time of placing any sell order, the bond will be sold at a YTM that is up to 1% lower than the YTM at which the selling investor originally bought it.
Eg. If the selling investor purchased a bond at 11.75% YTM, the sell order could be at 10.75% YTM. The selling investor would still earn 10.75% YTM for the investment.
The sale amount, therefore, would vary from person to person. The YTM at which the bond will be sold will be displayed to investors before confirming any sell order.
