Why is there a small difference between the NBFC payout and amount shown on Wint?

Sometimes, the amount you see on the Wint dashboard and the amount credited by the NBFC may not match exactly. This is usually a small difference and happens because the dashboard shows projected payouts based on internal calculations, while the final payout is processed by the NBFC using their official computation and payout systems.
 

Two common reasons are:
 

1. Rounding adjustments
Interest, principal, and TDS are calculated at multiple levels (per unit, per investor, or per ISIN). NBFCs may round off amounts at different stages of payout processing, which can lead to small variances compared to Wint’s projections.
 

2. TDS calculation differences
TDS is often computed cumulatively across all your investments with the same NBFC and for the full financial year. Since Wint may project TDS at an individual bond level, the final deduction by the NBFC can vary slightly.
